Job Description
NielsenIQ is seeking a Data Scientist for its Global Design and Data Center (GDDC) team, responsible for all design-related activities in data science.
This role involves designing, executing, and delivering analytical studies by utilizing data from multiple sources to identify new insights for clients and internal teams.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for preparing and communicating study results to clients and internal teams through written and video media.
Additionally, the Data Scientist will be responsible for maintaining performance dashboards and web-based reporting tools, engaging with senior-level colleagues, identifying potential risks to data quality, and recommending process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Math/Stats/Economics/Actuarial Science/Engineering, 0-4 years of relevant work experience, proficiency in Python or R and other open source tools, a solid understanding of statistics, and a good aptitude for data analysis.
The successful candidate should also be flexible and eager to continuously learn and adapt to changing technologies and tools.
