Job Description
“Harman International has an open position for a Manual and Automation Tester.
Responsibilities:
Analyze the technical aspects of equipment systems thoroughly. Review written code to ensure it meets project specifications. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies. Coordinate and oversee phased testing with the QA engineering team. Demonstrate expertise in testing concepts and methodologies. Execute the test process and proficiently manage the defect life cycle and test plan. Identify and categorize bugs based on severity and priority. Conduct precise functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing. Create detailed traceability matrices to align business requirements with test cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements for developing quality test cases. Design and execute test cases to ensure thorough testing of business requirements and functional specifications. Create, modify, and enhance both manual test cases and test scripts using Selenium Web Driver. Implement and execute test scripts on various browsers, such as Firefox and Chrome. Proficiency in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver or any other automation testing tool, coupled with the TestNG Framework. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record and experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role. Preferred experience in testing E-Commerce-based Applications. Excellent understanding of testing methodologies for Rest API, SOAP-based Web Service, and Integration testing. Proficiency in testing concepts and methodologies. Understanding of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan. Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing. Proficiency in test automation using Selenium Web Driver with JAVA. Experience in creating, modifying, and enhancing both manual test cases and test scripts using Selenium Web Driver. Experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver with the TestNG Framework. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.”
