Job Responsibilities
On a daily basis, your responsibilities would include creating and executing test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria, developing test scripts to assess the usability, performance, reliability, and quality of the product or service, identifying production process flaws, implementing preventive and corrective measures, and monitoring compliance with quality assurance standards.
You would also be responsible for gathering and analyzing statistical data, reviewing the testing process to ensure that user expectations are met, and ensuring compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Skills Required
To be successful in the role, you will require practical experience in testing design, planning, and execution, coupled with the demonstrated application of testing methodologies.
Additionally, you must possess organizational skills and the capability to plan and prioritize your workflow efficiently.
It is also mandatory to hold an Intermediate or Final CA, ICWA, or CS qualification along with a level 2 or 3 CFA or a level 1 or 2 FRM.
Furthermore, you should exhibit an understanding of the systems development lifecycle, have a good knowledge of the capital markets domain, and be well-versed in non-functional testing, including load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, penetration, and back-out. Other essential skills include excellent analytical skills and the ability to gather and interpret information from various sources in different ways.
