Job Role
The role involves contributing independently to the design and development of innovative and customer-centric documentation for the assigned product.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include understanding and analyzing product features to create user-centric documentation.
The successful candidate will also work closely with subject matter experts to gather and validate information.
Working with a diverse international team of writers and subject matter experts, the candidate will apply relevant technical documentation practices to conceptualize, design, and develop the required information products.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure quality in terms of content, standards, and presentation. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to participate in document design, process, and delivery innovations.
Education & Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this job should possess a graduate or post-graduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical Writing.
They must also have a proven track record of authoring and delivering documentation for Telecom products. Additionally, they should have a sound knowledge of structured authoring, with experience in XML-based authoring being preferred.
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, assertiveness, self-confidence, and excellent communication skills for working in a multi-site environment.
The ability to author accurate and simplified technical information, with a commitment to quality, timeliness, and organizational skills, is also essential.
Fluent English writing and communication skills are a must.
The ideal candidate should also be a team player, committed to quality, and take ownership of their work.
