Job Description
Responsibilities
• Prepare and review month-end accounting responsibilities, including balance sheet account reconciliations and reporting of open items.
• Process general entries accurately.
• Ensure timely delivery of work and provide regular updates to all stakeholders, including clients.
• Prepare and update process documentation to ensure it remains up to date at all times.
• Generate monthly reviews of the P&L and balance sheet, highlighting key findings.
• Conduct research, investigations, and detailed analysis using logical reasoning.
• Respond to client and auditor queries in a timely manner.
• Participate in the migration of additional finance responsibilities, including developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all finance functions handled by the team.
• Maintain the integrity and completeness of financial records while ensuring compliance with finance control standards.

Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• Relevant work experience in General Ledger. Preferred qualifications
• Candidates with a Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
