Job Description
NVIDIA is currently seeking Systems Software Interns to join its Deep Learning teams. In this role, your responsibilities will encompass the development, verification, and maintenance of compilers and software drivers for the upcoming generation of NVIDIA deep learning hardware. Collaborating with a team of specialists, you will contribute to advancing NVIDIA’s position in addressing real-time challenges within the autonomous driving sector.
This role presents various opportunities, including engagement with cutting-edge software/hardware platforms and DL algorithms supporting autonomous driving initiatives. The position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, and involves close collaboration with an international team of engineers and customer-facing business units. Depending on your skills, interests, and our requirements, tasks may range from algorithmic design, coding, and software testing to contributions related to our verification infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing compiler and systems software algorithms to address specific challenges in the realm of deep learning.
- Independently leading and conducting small research tasks, along with reporting and analyzing results.
- Designing and maintaining performance and precision modeling.
- Working on the testing and enhancement of our software by applying best software practices.
- Providing support to our automotive and embedded product teams when required.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing M.Tech/BTech in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication.
- A strong passion for deep learning/AI with awareness of the latest academic developments.
- Completion of courses in machine learning, deep learning, probability theory, and algorithms.
- Analytical thinking, a penchant for elegant solutions, proficiency in mathematical tools and algorithms, and adeptness in solving numerical problems.
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks such as ONNX, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Exceptional teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
