Adobe shesparks 2024 – Quality Analyst – SheSparks Intern
SheSparks – Adobe’s Women Returnee Internship program is a venture initiated by Adobe aimed at supporting female employees who have taken a hiatus for personal reasons and are now seeking reentry into the workforce.
This initiative offers a 6-month internship tailored for experienced candidates aiming to re-establish themselves professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, review, and contribution to test scenarios, test scripts, and test data creation. Execute tests and assist in identifying the root cause of issues.
- Provide guidance, development, and management of standards, methods, or procedures to ascertain release readiness. Collaborate with stakeholders to devise test schedules and strategies aligned with project scope or delivery dates.
- Manage risks and escalations, report findings, conduct follow-ups, and track bugs.
- Maintain a commitment to excellence to ensure the delivery of a quality product.
- Demonstrate passion for innovation and the implementation of ideas to enhance efficiency, advocate for best practices, and refine processes.
- Support team members by offering mentorship and coaching, acting as a primary point of contact for Digital Marketing Consultants in the QA lead role.
Requirements for Success:
- Proficiency in developing Functional, Integration, and End-to-End Test Strategy/approaches, as well as test plans.
- Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases in accordance with project requirements.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with various stakeholders such as Developers, Product Owners/Clients, and Business Analysts.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and related tools (e.g., Rally, JIRA, Confluence).
- Basic understanding of databases, including keys, relationships, tables, and attributes/fields. Experience in software testing at the API level using tools like SOAP UI, PostMan, REST Client, etc.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting issues using logs and other techniques, coupled with excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Coding and scripting experience to drive innovation and develop solutions for automation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, and experience as a Business Analyst alongside QA expertise would be beneficial.
