Job Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Intern, your main responsibility will be to assist with a project aimed at identifying solutions for various requirements and conducting proof of concept tests as needed.
We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development process.
You will work closely with mentors, follow pre-established guidelines, and receive clear instructions to carry out your duties effectively.
We expect the right candidate to be proactive, eager to learn, and able to contribute to the team’s success.
Required Qualification
Required Skills/Experience:
The ability to commit to a full-time, 12-week work schedule is required.
Applicants should be upcoming juniors or seniors in software development, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, IT, Computer Science Engineering or other related fields.
Applicants should also possess basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS).
Desired Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or .Net is preferred, as is knowledge of RDBMS or Non-RDBMS.
Additional programming knowledge in languages like Python, Javascript, and Node JS is also considered a plus.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a strong technical background demonstrated through technical projects, research, or engineering internships.
Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
They should also demonstrate a keen interest in the medical technology industry and a desire for a career with ResMed.
