Educational Requirements
To meet the educational requirements for this position, one must have completed an M.Tech program in Communication, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Signal Processing, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field with a CGPA of 7.5 or above.
Additionally, a strong academic background in signal processing algorithms and experience in MATLAB simulations is expected.
It is essential to have proficiency in C programming, and a solid understanding of embedded systems and RTOS concepts is preferred.
Having knowledge or an interest in machine learning is also a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have a range of responsibilities that include developing and testing embedded firmware for drivers, framework, and application code.
They will also be involved in designing and developing drivers, middleware, framework, and application components for embedded platforms.
Additionally, they will develop applications for ADI-DSPs, ARM-based ASSP, and other processors/controllers that interface with ADI parts.
The role requires expertise in microcontroller programming, including developing bootloader code and board bring-up.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting firmware update testing and deployment, as well as debugging low-level hardware interfaces such as USB, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, GPIO, ADC/DACs, among others.
Creating and reviewing documentation, implementing development processes as required, and reviewing requirements and specifications will also be part of the job. Moreover, the candidate will work on connectivity areas such as BT/WiFi to develop interfaces for newer devices.
