Job Description

You will be responsible for creating documentation for both developers and customer support teams. The documentation process involves providing data to various tools utilized by the development and support teams. Your role will also involve transitioning the team to newer documentation tools and processes.

Your work will involve close collaboration with the Engineering teams responsible for developing our exceptional content delivery and cloud-based security applications. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the new features offered to our customers, you will create reference and support documentation. You will streamline processes to ensure that our reference materials are updated in sync with our software release schedule.

As a Technical Writer II, your responsibilities will include:

Publishing both internal and customer-facing documentation on a schedule that aligns closely with our software deployments. Collaborating with our software and product teams to comprehend, clarify, and document the features. Exploring and suggesting improvements to the documentation process. Working with various teams to implement the changes and enhance our ability to update documentation. Maintaining communication with contributors and effectively managing multiple email threads and document request tickets simultaneously.

Pursue your passion

To excel in this role, you should:

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. Be proficient in using content development tools and creating customer-facing and developer-facing documentation. Possess a working knowledge of XML and XSLT languages. Have experience with Linux and Windows (bonus point). Demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills in English. Have familiarity with the following tools: Git, Perforce, Confluence, and Jira.
