This role involves managing a variety of customer service inquiries, ranging from moderate to complex. Responsibilities include addressing questions about policies and billing from both internal and external customers. The position requires delivering accurate, professional, and timely service while updating policy records, resolving concerns, and processing customer requests. Support may be provided through inbound and outbound calls, written correspondence, digital communication channels, and service-related call transfers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and monitor data within designated systems or databases.
  • Stay informed about current marketing initiatives to appropriately handle related customer inquiries using all available tools.
  • Respond to customer documentation requests, clearly explaining the contents and any necessary follow-up actions or updates required from the customer.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of insurance policies and associated procedures.
  • Process policy changes with a high level of accuracy, identifying potential cross-sell opportunities when applicable.
  • Utilize effective questioning techniques, actively listen to customer concerns, and respond with empathy and understanding.
  • Aim to resolve issues on the first contact, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve a wide range of customer concerns, including routine, complex, and unique issues.
