Job Description
This role involves managing moderate to complex inquiries while addressing policy and billing-related questions from both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include resolving service concerns, accurately documenting customer requests, and processing policy changes. Customer interactions may occur through inbound and outbound calls, correspondence, and other communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain data in relevant databases.
- Stay updated on marketing initiatives to provide accurate responses to related inquiries.
- Handle customer documentation requests, explaining their contents clearly and outlining any necessary follow-ups or updates.
- Maintain a solid understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and associated processes.
- Accurately process policy changes based on customer-provided information while identifying potential cross-selling opportunities (if applicable).
- Utilize active listening and probing questions to fully understand customer concerns, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Strive for first-call resolution and ensure customer satisfaction in all interactions.
- Address a variety of customer inquiries, including routine, complex, and unique issues.
