Capital One Off Campus Hiring – Software Engineering Intern
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code.
- Implement software development best practices and deploy applications in an AWS cloud environment using CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Deployment) pipelines.
- Apply engineering methodologies such as pair programming, TDD (Test-Driven Development), ATDD (Acceptance Test-Driven Development), CI/CD, and refactoring.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, experiment with new tools, and continuously enhance technical skills.
- Design and develop backend, middleware, or frontend services using Java, SQL/NoSQL databases, Python, Angular, Lit, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Gain exposure to Big Data technologies like Spark and Scala, as well as Machine Learning (ML).
- Foster innovation, embrace advanced technologies, encourage diverse perspectives, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to Agile principles to ensure the continuous delivery of software.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and a willingness to learn others.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science.
