Job Description
- Role: Development Analyst
As a Development Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop software applications for the enterprise of ITS Canada. This entails creating and documenting applications using various technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, ServiceNow, Siebel, PeopleSoft, SAP HANA, Hadoop, Data Stage, RPA, and Business Intelligence. You will collaborate with Senior Development Analysts, Architects, Delivery Managers, and Business Analysts to clearly define and comprehend business requirements. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for technological solutions to achieve project objectives. Active engagement in Communities of Practice (CoP) will also be expected, where you can share leading practices and uphold standards.
- Role: Business Solution Analyst – BA/QA
As a Business Solution Analyst (BSA), your key responsibility will be to understand, gather, and document requirements for both functional and non-functional aspects of a solution. This will involve engaging with clients and stakeholders to build or enhance existing requirements through the documentation of Epics and user stories. Acting as a bridge between the customer and the delivery team, you will execute test cases related to one or more solutions. Your role also encompasses testing system applications of low to medium complexity, analyzing outputs, and reporting any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements. Supporting the conformance and application of test process management tools and guidelines will be essential, as well as active participation in Communities of Practice (CoP).
- Role: Systems Analyst
As a Systems Analyst, your primary responsibility will revolve around maintaining applications, providing support for IT Infrastructure, IT Security, and End User Support for ITS Canada. This will involve deploying, supporting, and maintaining applications and IT Infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, ERP, SCOM, SCCM, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Virtualization (HyperV/VMWare), Network, Storage, Active Directory, Skype, Exchange, ArcSight, and SourceFire. Collaborating with Senior Systems Analysts, Development Analysts, Architects, Delivery Managers, and Infrastructure Managers, you will support IT needs and recommend and implement Infrastructure solutions as required to support business objectives. Active participation in Communities of Practice (CoP) is also expected, promoting the sharing of leading practices and adherence to standards.
Qualification and Experience:
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/ M.C.A. with a consistent academic record (minimum 60% or 6.5 GPA throughout without any ongoing backlogs). Outstanding analytical skills and effective communication abilities (both written and verbal, including presentation skills). Demonstrated capability to shape one’s own career path and establish professional networks within the organization. Proficiency in working independently as well as collaboratively with professionals at all organizational levels. Strong prioritization skills, enabling the handling of multiple assignments concurrently, while appropriately raising concerns or questions. Ability to propose practical solutions and collaborate with customers to implement them successfully. Conducting account coordination with customers to enhance relationships and seek feedback for identifying areas of improvement. Proactively seeking information, ideas, and establishing relationships with customers to assess future opportunities. Expertise in defining project standards, familiarity with methodologies, and understanding of process improvement initiatives. Interacting effectively with subject matter experts from various functional domains.
