Job Description

Program Overview: Our Summer Intern program provides college students with an exceptional opportunity to expand their skill set and gain practical experience in a global support team environment. In addition to working alongside professionals from various departments, interns will engage in a range of activities throughout the summer. These activities include sessions with Senior Leaders, site tours, volunteer opportunities, and social events designed to foster networking and personal growth. The Fiserv summer internship runs from June 5, 2023, to August 11, 2023, with interns expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.

Job Description: Fiserv is currently seeking enthusiastic and innovative Technology Interns to join our 10-week Summer Internship Program in 2022. We offer internships in various technology areas, including Application Development, Global & Cyber Security, Mobile Solutions, Network Engineering, and Quality Assurance. Each internship provides a structured training curriculum, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences. Interns will collaborate with technology professionals, acquiring essential skills such as coding, testing, and supporting application software. They will also work with senior analysts and experienced team members, contribute innovative ideas, participate in quality inspections, assist in documenting existing processes, and engage in mentorship programs and complex projects. The specific tasks assigned to interns may vary depending on the department.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, expected to be completed by December 2022 or May 2024, with a proven academic track record.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferably 3.5 or higher).
• Interest in learning and utilizing emerging technologies, including mobile solutions, payments, cloud computing, information security, and converging markets.
• Familiarity with development processes and life cycles, preferably including Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong strategic and creative thinking abilities, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
