Job Description

Responsibilities:

The role entails overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations, and shipping, for a country or regional business unit. The individual should be capable of performing these tasks with minimal supervision, utilizing their discretion and judgment effectively.

Additionally, the individual will be responsible for compiling important metrics, generating reports, and analyzing data using relevant IT systems to facilitate demand and supply matching activities. The analysis of backlog management is also part of the role’s responsibilities. Moreover, gathering demand data from the country and region for demand planning purposes is essential.

The individual should review the current business processes pertaining to both regional and global business unit planning teams. Regularly reviewing performance metrics is necessary, as it aids in identifying opportunities for improvement.

Education and Experience Required:

The position requires a first-level university degree or equivalent experience. A background in supply chain function, with approximately 0-2 years of experience, is typically expected.

Knowledge and Skills:

The following knowledge and skills are necessary for the role:

  • A comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including mastery in English and the local language.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A fundamental understanding of project management methodology.
  • Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Familiarity with HP’s overall supply chain strategy.
  • A basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Available-to-Promise (ATP).
  • Basic knowledge of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • A foundational understanding of inventory analysis.
