Job Description
Responsibilities
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on product performance, user behavior, and market trends using statistical analysis tools and techniques.
You will use this data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
Additionally, you will develop metrics to track product performance and measure the success of new features or initiatives.
This includes identifying areas of improvement or opportunities for growth, and communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
To support product development and marketing strategies, you will conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences, and to identify gaps in the market that the company’s products or services could fill.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, you will identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Furthermore, you will develop reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for product teams and senior leadership.
You will present results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
You will continuously monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements or optimizations based on data analysis.
Ensuring adherence to Zeotap’s company policies, privacy, and information security procedures is paramount. You will complete all awareness trainings assigned on time.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as computer science or statistics.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques such as Excel, SQL, or Python is required. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets, identify patterns and trends, and draw meaningful insights.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies is preferred.
Furthermore, the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously are essential.
A passion for technology and product development is desirable.
Previous internship or work experience in a related field, such as product management or business analysis, or experience working with analytics software or data visualization is a plus.
