Job Description

Position Summary: The individual in this role will work as an individual contributor, demonstrating a fair degree of accountability with minimal assistance. They will be responsible for executing unit testing to ensure the accuracy of their developments. It is essential to realize the development and requirements based on the provided technical specifications. Adherence to coding standards and performance measures, as per the guidelines of the customer/organization, is crucial. Active participation in nominated trainings and proactive efforts towards self-improvement and development are expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform unit testing to ensure the accuracy of developed solutions.
  • Implement the development/requirements according to the provided technical specifications.
  • Adhere to coding standards and performance measures based on customer/organization guidelines.
  • Participate in nominated trainings and take proactive steps for self-improvement and development.

Required Technical Competencies: Projects Documentation:

  • Possess basic knowledge of documentation involved in projects such as BBP and Solution Design, FS, Test Scripts, and Timesheets.
  • Capable of creating required project documentation.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of requirement management processes, tools, and requirement analysis process, tools, and methodologies.

Customer Management:

  • Possess basic knowledge of customer business domain and technology suite.
  • Utilize the latest technology and incorporate it into client engagement.
  • Handle customer escalations effectively.

Test Management:

  • Perform unit testing and comparison testing for rehosting.
  • Report testing status and document identified defects.
  • Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per the test plan.
  • Identify and report deviations or defects from expected results.
