Job Description


What This Position Entails:

Assist Saks in delivering high-quality, trend-right, and luxury merchandise to our Store and Online customers! By executing various supply chain tasks, you will ensure timely availability of the correct products in stores. You’ll collaborate with diverse Buyers & Planners from Saks U.S and Canada headquarters and renowned Brands to materialize concepts into exceptional merchandise.

You also have:

? Establish Item Master Data in Saks internal systems.

? Generate and maintain Purchase Orders using in-house tools.

? Transmit Purchase Orders to vendors.

? Collaborate with Buying Offices, Planners, and Vendors.

? Develop and document best practices.

? Serve as a liaison between US Buying offices, vendors, and the Leadership team.

? Manage workflow dashboard and report business metrics.

? Undertake specific tasks and special projects as assigned.

As the Trainee, Buying Operations, you will:

? Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
