Job Description
Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study at an accredited college or university, leading to a bachelor’s degree or higher. Alternatively, you may have an appropriate combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and provide relevant suggestions.
- Prepare and review test plans.
- Create test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Execute manual or automated tests.
- Clearly report defects and assist in their understanding.
- Analyze test results and develop appropriate metrics to measure the success/failure of test cases.
- Prepare and present test reports with detailed information.
- Train and mentor junior software engineers.
- Generate ideas for process and product improvement.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant teams.
Skill Requirements
- Familiarity with Agile processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of any bug tracking tool.
- Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
- Preferred knowledge of the Travel domain.
- Familiarity with XML and SQL.
- ISTQB certification is desirable.
- Experience with any automation tool or performance tool is a plus.
