Job Description
Responsibilities:
The role involves providing support for initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and the smooth rollout of products into production. Collaborating with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users, the testing specialist is responsible for designing and implementing suitable scripts and plans to ensure an effective application testing strategy. Additionally, the role includes conducting various process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments. Findings are documented, and nonconformance reports are prepared, with a focus on tracking and resolving issues before projects are moved to production. The testing verification matrices are created and maintained, and quality metrics are gathered, maintained, and reported on. Ensuring traceability in project work products is also part of the responsibilities. The position requires a solid understanding of procedures and concepts within the technical area and a basic knowledge of related elements in other areas. Evaluative judgments are made based on factual information analysis, with problems being resolved using acquired technical experience and guidance from precedents. The impact of the role extends to the team and closely related teams through the quality of services provided. Communication skills are essential, demonstrated through the concise and logical exchange of ideas and information, recognizing the diverse audience. Other assigned duties and functions are performed as required. The role necessitates the appropriate assessment of risk in business decisions while safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, applying sound ethical judgment, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a good understanding of QA within a Software Development environment. Strong logical analysis skills and problem-solving abilities are required, along with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. The candidate should consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently or as part of a team is important, and experience in designing and executing test cases is preferred.
Education:
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
