Role Objective
This role is centered around designing, testing, and upkeeping software programs intended for deployment on client operating systems or applications, ensuring adherence to stringent quality assurance benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Comprehend product/software requisites and contribute to the design process.
- Formulate software solutions through an analysis of information needs, system flow, data usage, and work procedures.
- Engage in issue investigation across the software development lifecycle.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for system predicaments and problem elucidation.
- Innovate ideas for enhancing system performance and availability.
- Scrutinize client mandates and translate them into viable designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts responsible for an in-depth exploration of software prerequisites.
- Consult with project managers to gain insights into software capabilities.
- Undertake coding and ensure optimal software/module progression.
- Evaluate operational feasibility via assessment of analysis, problem definition, requirements, software development, and proposed solutions.
- Devise and automate processes for software validation, encompassing the creation and execution of test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Modify software to rectify errors, adapt to new hardware, enhance performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Evaluate data to propose and strategize new system installations or alterations to existing systems.
- Assure code integrity by eliminating errors and preventing test failures.
- Generate comprehensive, timely, and accurate reports detailing programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Adhere to stipulated norms for raising codes within projects, programs, or accounts, providing clear descriptions and replication procedures.
- Maintain meticulous and comprehensive documentation, furnishing reports upon request.
- Collaborate with the team to update on project status and progress, documenting these updates.
- Supply usability and serviceability feedback, linking outcomes to quality risks and conveying insights to pertinent stakeholders.
- Regularly report project status and execution updates, focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Capture and clarify client requirements to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Solicit feedback consistently to ensure punctual and seamless deliveries.
- Participate in continuous learning and training to stay current on best practices, master new programming languages, and support fellow team members.
- Consult with engineering personnel to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and formulate specifications and performance mandates.
- Demonstrate and document solutions through comprehensive documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and well-structured code.
- Document essential details and reports meticulously to facilitate understanding of the software’s journey from client proposal to implementation.
- Uphold professional and effective communication with customers in all forms of correspondence, including email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
- Ensure swift responsiveness to customer inquiries and resolve any complaints, both internally and externally.
