Job Description

Hewlett Packard is currently seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineering Graduate!

Candidate Responsibilities:

1. Creating, developing, diagnosing, and rectifying software programs to enhance existing software and develop new products.
2. Crafting software encompassing various aspects such as operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
3. Assessing hardware compatibility and, when necessary, influencing hardware design decisions.
4. Writing code and implementing enhancements, updates, and modifications for specific segments and subsystems of system software. This includes operating systems, compilers, networking components, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
5. Executing predefined test plans and protocols for designated sections of code, while identifying, documenting, and addressing any issues encountered.
6. Establishing and nurturing relationships with internal and external development partners, collaborating on software systems design and development.
7. Actively participating as a valuable team member within project teams consisting of fellow software systems engineers and both internal and external development partners. The goal is to create dependable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for products with a low to moderately complex nature.

Candidate Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
2. Typically, 0-2 years of professional experience.
3. Possessing experience with or understanding of software systems design tools and programming languages.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Familiarity with designing software systems that can operate across various platform types.
6. Knowledge of fundamental testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in both English and the local language.
