NetApp Cloud Volumes SDE Engineering is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our high-performance team. Together, we will tackle complex data challenges by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create products and services that extend NetApp’s data fabric to all applications, anywhere. We are looking for a quick learner who thrives in a team environment and is dedicated to delivering high-quality features. In this role, you will be responsible for driving product quality and test automation development, with a focus on customer success and time-to-market.
Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities:
- Review feature requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documents to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Prioritize automation by automating test cases for new features.
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues discovered during testing.
- Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, demos, retrospectives, sprint planning, and other Agile meetings.
- Contribute to the development of system documentation, installation guides, configuration guides, and support documentation for the tested applications.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in writing complex and maintainable test scripts using Python.
- Familiarity with Python-based automation frameworks such as PyTest and Robot.
- Understanding of file system concepts and experience with Linux or other Unix-based Operating Systems.
- Experience in testing REST-based APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Self-driven individual with a strong ability to learn new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude when engaging with stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the initiative to enhance product test coverage and effectiveness.
Education: Typically, a minimum of 0-3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree without experience, or equivalent work experience is required.
