Job Description

Inviting applications for the position of Management Trainee, IT Asset Management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the efficient operation of the IT asset depot, ensuring proper handling, storage, and distribution of IT assets.
  2. Manage the inventory of IT assets, including tracking, updating, and reconciling stock levels.
  3. Coordinate and execute the receiving, inspection, and processing of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  4. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate procurement of IT assets and supplies.
  5. Supervise the maintenance and repair of IT assets, coordinating with technical teams as necessary.
  6. Implement and enforce security protocols to protect IT assets, preventing theft and unauthorized access.
  7. Maintain records of asset movements, repairs, and disposals to facilitate accurate reporting and compliance.
  8. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for depot operations and asset management processes.
  9. Monitor and optimize asset utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational IT asset management goals and objectives.
  11. Provide training and guidance to depot staff on asset management best practices and safety measures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate with relevant experience in IT Inventory and Asset Management.
  • ITIL Certification would be an advantage.
  • Should have worked in a large organization in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of working with tools like Oracle Financials, Service Now, HAM Pro, Workday.
  • Familiarity with STPI and SEZ Site Procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong documentation skills (emails, MS Office) for leadership reporting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to maintain accurate asset records and reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a positive work environment.
