Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes routine tasks following established procedures and guidelines under regular supervision to achieve defined objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Follows instructions and guidance from supervisors, utilizing existing knowledge and procedures to address standard problems within software development phases such as requirement specification and feasibility studies.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests products, services, improvements, and bug resolutions for integrated hardware and software systems based on customer requirements.
  • Addresses customer trouble tickets, diagnosing complex issues (including hardware, software, and combinations) and providing resolutions or recommending corrective actions.
  • Manages software/hardware build-controlled production releases including main releases, updates, service packages, and maintenance updates.
  • Defines product hardware/software evolutions through documentation creation, change control management, and notifications to suppliers and customers.
  • Maintains technical expertise on assigned products and technologies, providing training to lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
  • Adheres to and promotes quality standards, participating in process and tools improvements.
  • Applies the SW Care process, particularly in emergency case handling, to contribute to swift problem resolution.
