Responsibilities:
You will contribute to developing key components of a large-scale payment platform that demands high performance, accuracy, and reliability. As part of a highly skilled team, you will help deliver impactful features for Blackhawk’s customers and partners. The role involves pushing the boundaries of backend development to create efficient and scalable solutions. You will work with modern cloud technologies and application frameworks to design robust systems. Collaboration is essential, as you will both learn from and mentor teammates. You will also engage with leading payment ecosystems, helping shape innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and support developers in building advanced payment applications.
Job Description:
- Develop clear, maintainable, and reusable code that is easy to test and understand.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment within an Agile setup.
- Build scalable, high-performing systems that ensure availability and resilience, including automated recovery mechanisms.
- Share ideas and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and deliver system capabilities.
- Partner with product architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define effective product requirements.
- Address customer needs by introducing new features and refining existing functionalities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with solid programming skills in Java and a good understanding of relational databases.
- Ability to design, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions based on clear requirements.
- Experience collaborating with team members, QA engineers, and senior developers on implementation details.
- Active participation in discussions, team meetings, and code reviews.
