Role Overview:
The Technician is responsible for conducting technical evaluations, carrying out assigned tasks, maintaining systems, and providing customer support. The role requires following established procedures and ensuring that all contractual obligations are completed within the defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and support IT projects that involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing effective technology-driven improvements for business operations.
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders, regularly interacting with management, sponsors, and application owners while serving as a reliable IT advisor.
- Provide end-to-end support for critical business applications, including requirement identification, deployment, user training, ongoing maintenance, and eventual transition to upgraded systems or platforms.
- Continuously enhance both technical and functional knowledge to effectively perform job responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Background in roles such as IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or a similar position.
- Experience working with multiple IT systems, including familiarity with issue resolution processes and third-party support tools like Unisys.
- Involvement in complete application lifecycle implementations, from initial requirements gathering to production support.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix-based team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a relevant discipline and/or 0–2 years of related experience.
