Job Description
Role Overview
The role involves understanding and refining requirements in collaboration with clients or business analysts. You will design, document, and automate functional test cases while continuously reviewing and updating regression test suites. The position requires executing functional testing within assigned modules, identifying defects, and ensuring they are properly logged, tracked, and resolved in coordination with development teams.
You will be expected to follow established QA standards and best practices, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and contribute to improving testing strategies. Additionally, the role includes exploring innovative testing approaches using AI tools, such as experimenting with Copilot prompts to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. You will also analyze issues arising from AI-assisted tools and use them to optimize both manual and automated testing workflows.
Candidate Profile
Primary Skills
- Strong foundation in manual and exploratory testing
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium or Katalon using C# or Java
- Good knowledge of automation testing concepts
- Familiarity with API testing (preferred)
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
- Experience with XPath and object-oriented programming concepts
- Exposure to or interest in AI-powered tools (such as Copilot or ChatGPT) for generating and improving test cases and automation
Secondary Skills
- Experience in performance testing
- Familiarity with QA tools and testing frameworks
- Knowledge of mobile application testing
- Understanding of prompt engineering and evaluation of AI-generated code or test cases
