Associate Content Editor (Telecommunication)
We are seeking an Associate Content Editor to join our Patent Engineering Team based in Chennai/Hyderabad. Technical proficiency aligned with the requirements of each technology area. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, along with an understanding of customer information product needs in the relevant technology/scientific domain.
What will you be doing in this role?
Provide value-added scientific information, employing manual coding techniques for patent records, meeting both individual and team volume and quality targets. Classify patents through the application of manual coding in adherence to editorial policies and conventions. Stay informed about the latest developments in your designated technology areas. Take responsibility for identifying ongoing technology training and developmental needs. Maintain flexibility and adaptability in response to process changes.
About the Team
The team comprises 28 editors reporting to their Team Manager. Proficient in content editing across various engineering fields such as Computers, Mechanical, Instrumentation, etc., the team focuses on patents associated with emerging technologies, ensuring we remain updated on the latest innovations and discoveries.
Hours of Work
9 AM to 6 PM, IST (including a 1-hour break)
