Job Description
About the Design Team The Design Team plays a crucial role at Disney+ Hotstar, focusing on three main areas: Product Design, UX Research, and Systems & Standards. Currently, our team comprises 19 individuals who collaborate closely on a variety of design aspects. Our work spans from extracting insights from data and creating interfaces and prototypes to conducting user testing and developing motion graphics and illustrations.
Internship Program We are actively seeking Product Design Interns to join Disney+ Hotstar for a six-month internship.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and framing problem statements.
- Extracting meaningful insights from data.
- Creating and refining user journeys and flows.
- Collaborating with user researchers to conduct user testing and obtain qualitative insights.
- Designing user interfaces that meet qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers to address challenges.
What to Bring
- Proficiency in visual design of user interfaces and prototyping interactions.
- Understanding of data, metrics, and the decision-making process in design.
- Effective communication with peers, along with clear articulation of thoughts and decisions.
- Experience in user testing.
- Skills in motion design, illustrations, or storytelling; coding skills are a plus.
