Job Description
Team Overview:
The team plays a pivotal role in influencing demand on the platform by strategically managing pricing and promotional strategies while considering the platform’s Profit and Loss (PnL) statement. Their daily tasks involve working on pricing and promotional offers, ensuring the achievement of both topline and bottom line targets. The team maintains essential coordination with internal and external stakeholders for daily pricing operations, concurrently analyzing platform-level metrics to identify and address issues or capitalize on strengths for improved Return on Investment (ROI).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor crucial metrics, including revenue per unit, gross margin, provisioning liquidation, conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition, and the performance of popular styles.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, facilitating the evaluation and enhancement of future performance.
- Coordinate with the finance team to guarantee the accuracy of Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting for the portfolio.
- Reconcile discounts with brand associates concerning the funding of sale day properties.
- Vigilantly monitor discounting and pricing for key brands on other platforms to ensure consistency and preclude customer switching.
- Analyze trends related to inventory, revenue, stock cover, and the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Influence various teams and stakeholders within the organization to align with goals and adhere to project timelines.
- Establish efficient reporting processes to streamline operations.
- Engage in Sales Forecasting and Trend Analysis.
- Develop innovative analyses and trends using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau to shape new dimensions of pricing strategies.
