About the Team: Are you interested in addressing impactful user issues and tackling core engineering challenges? If so, you might be a perfect fit for the workspace teams. These teams aspire to establish the workspace as the ultimate tool for every developer worldwide, fostering collaboration on APIs. The team’s primary responsibilities include:
- Developing the workspace as a platform for users to design, build, develop, test, and consume APIs across workspaces.
- Facilitating seamless collaboration among producers and consumers of APIs.
- Creating a highly secure, available, performant, and immersive product experience.
The developers within this team work on intricate problems, such as designing new systems capable of handling millions of transactions per second (TPS). They take ownership of designing and implementing new features from the user experience (UX) phase to launch, as well as diagnosing and resolving issues in production systems. Exciting tasks include managing the workspace life cycle with access control, effectively onboarding users to workspaces via templates, and scaling workspaces for enterprise organizations.
What you’ll be doing: As part of a collaborative effort with Developers, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Designers, and Platform Engineers, you will:
- Contribute to product development.
- Swiftly create small features with a significant impact on users, taking ownership of the entire process.
- Conduct code and design reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
- Rectify bugs, enhance the performance of existing APIs, and address technical debts to continually enhance the system’s quality.
- Take charge of end-to-end initiatives.
About You: To be considered, you should:
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, expecting to graduate between December 2023 and May 2024 at the time of application.
- Possess knowledge of languages like Javascript, node.js, or other back-end technologies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, complexity analysis, and web fundamentals.
