Job Description

The position involves addressing incidents and service requests from customers or end-users in accordance with the unit’s standard methods and procedures.

What your responsibilities entail:

  • Conducting ticket analysis, service interruption analysis, and triaging of issues, followed by collaboration with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Ensuring the availability of all necessary ticket information for further analysis, such as error screenshots and customer IDs. Applying established methods and procedures to resolve known or recurring issues.
  • Utilizing skills to efficiently navigate the existing knowledge base and documentation for quick-win and first-level resolution.
  • Managing ticket queues, assigning tasks to other teams, and ensuring timely follow-up for resolution while adhering to SLAs.
  • Ensuring timely resolution or escalation within the agreed SLA, creating a positive customer support experience, and fostering strong relationships through effective communication and a professional attitude.
  • Updating checklists for quality assurance and progress tracking in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Working in various shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring seamless handovers between shifts, and monitoring and publishing SLA achievements by tracking all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensuring clear communication and documentation as a point of contact.
  • Performing validation, verification, and correction of system artifacts (reports, bills, event records, screens, etc.) and properly documenting detected errors.
  • Conducting basic software system operations, including online screen usage, running maps and jobs, basic configuration/installation, and backups.
  • Addressing fallouts from various applications, journalizing manual billing requests, processing payments, and handling miscellaneous activities.
  • Conducting health checks, monitoring systems, and sending regular reports.

Qualifications:

  • BCA, BSc, BBA, MSc (Computer Application/Computer Science/IT) – Graduating in 2023 (Fulltime)
  • Minimum 60% in academics with no backlogs or breaks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond promptly to customer queries
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on technical knowledge of Unix & SQL
  • Ability to understand business needs and manage 24X7 shifts
  • Experience in working with ambiguous situations, under pressure, and flexible work hours
  • Understanding of Production Support/Application Support
