Job Responsibilities
- A typical day at Unilever involves the following activities:
- Visiting the market and engaging in personal selling to achieve sales targets.
- Managing both the front-end and back-end infrastructure of the distributor system.
- Using MIS reports to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in execution and performance within your geographic area.
- Negotiating with distributors and coaching their teams on customer management to generate more business.
- Building strong relationships with trade partners to strengthen Unilever’s market position and gather market feedback.
- Analyzing ways to improve the company’s competitive position through better customer service.
- Monitoring the distributor’s performance and sales team systematically and addressing any infrastructure gaps through corrective action.
Skills & Requirements
- To be eligible for this position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a full-time graduation program is mandatory.
- The candidate must have at least two years of experience in channel sales.
- Proficiency in calculating ROI and managing RS distribution is essential.
- Knowledge of RS appointment and sales planning is necessary.
- The candidate should be capable of conducting promotional activities and executing them successfully.
- The candidate should be familiar with MS-Office, especially Excel.
- Adequate communication skills in both English and the local language are desirable.
