Job Description
- Job Title: Intern – Global Academic Program – Data Science
- Mission:
- Aid in the business development of Altair Software in the Academic Market (Universities).
- Promote usage of Altair Data Science Software, particularly Altair Rapidminer, among Academics globally.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and update training materials and knowledge base for Altair products, tailored to specific domains.
- Create real-world data analytics use cases, examples, and training materials.
- Support student teams, especially in competitions like the First Robotics Competition (FRC), in utilizing data analytics for success.
- Consult, support, and conduct workshops, webinars, and trainings for students and academic users of Altair Data Science Software.
- Assist in administering student access to software and resources, aiding in account management.
- Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree with a focus on Data Science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
- Ability to explain Data Science and AI concepts to beginners.
- Proficiency in technical tools for data manipulation, understanding of Data Mining, and Statistical Analysis workflows.
- Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
- Familiarity with real-world applications of Data Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning.
