Job Description
DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Intern:
- Participate in product design alongside global professionals to translate ideas/customer requirements into reality.
- Implement and unit-test designs using programming languages such as C, C++, and occasionally Java or other emerging languages.
- Uphold good coding practices and maintain documentation hygiene by producing readable and understandable code/comments.
- Professionally develop solutions and work products using established software development practices prevalent in the industry, such as AGILE/SAFE software development models.
- Interface/Interact with teams across departments/locations to realize work products, provide updates, and contribute ideas.
- Assist in defining requirements for products by collaborating with Product Management teams. Conduct technical research, monitor current trends, and track changes in technology.
- Contribute to Harman’s innovation journey by generating new ideas for the products we work on and creating invention disclosures and patents.
- Conduct tests on implemented solutions (Create test cases, test scripts, and automate tests on real hardware).
