Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, coupled with demonstrated proficiency in coding across various languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, encompassing data structures, algorithms, operating systems, design patterns, and associated topics.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Understanding: Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers and technical leads, to delineate user requirements for feature development. Begin integrating continuous feedback loops to gauge customer value.
- Design: Contribute to product/solution architecture processes and assist in crafting proposals by testing design hypotheses under the guidance of technical leadership. Engage in code planning activities and contribute to the development of design documents for straightforward designs or user stories.
- Coding: Develop and implement code for products, services, or features with guidance, ensuring code reusability, extensibility, and maintainability. Adhere to coding patterns and best practices while writing code.
- Implementation: Gain familiarity with product features by reviewing work items in collaboration with project managers. Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimations.
- Reliability and Supportability: Participate in the operation of live services on a rotational, on-call basis, identifying and addressing simple issues impacting service performance or functionality. Propose solutions and mitigations as necessary.
- Engineering Excellence: Stay abreast of current developments and actively seek new knowledge to enhance product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance. Strive for consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
