Job Description
- Nokia is seeking candidates for the position of Field Operations Engineer.
- Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of Core/STP/FLDS/Access CEN networks.
- Maintenance and alarm clearance for Optical domine DWDM/Access networks.
- Interacting with customers.
- Coordinating with engineers for Data/Optical fault rectification and preventive maintenance.
- Conducting network upgrade activities.
- Coordinating with infrastructure providers and fiber teams for swift service restoration.
- Managing project activities related to data operations.
- Organizing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Analyzing performance reports (CRC/FCS/Packet drop/Flap/Congestion) and taking necessary actions.
- Requirements:
- No prior experience required, only basic educational knowledge, degree, or equivalent.
- Accountable for the quality and accuracy of own output, with errors having limited impact.
- Participates as an individual contributor to the team, typically in a support or entry-level professional role.
