Job Opportunity: Data Centre Operation Technician
This position offers a distinctive opportunity to contribute to the operations of cutting-edge data centers globally. Our data centers, renowned for their scale and technological advancement, are at the forefront of revolutionizing cloud technology in India.
As a Data Centre Operation Technician at ADSIPL, your responsibilities include:
- Providing support for data center infrastructure equipment, such as racks, servers, networking devices, and hardware components.
- Executing routine operational tasks on hardware, operating systems, and spare parts, including rack installations, server maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hardware component replacements and media spares.
- Collaborating with a team to accomplish tasks, ensuring seamless handovers during shift changes.
- Prioritizing issue resolution based on severity and meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Documenting work activities in a ticket tracking system.
- Managing inventory, including identification, receipt, and deployment of hardware components.
- Following information security policies and physical safety protocols.
- Escalating deviations from established processes or procedures.
- Assisting with visitor or contractor escort duties.
- Representing AWS professionally as a member of the global support team.
- Upholding a culture of safety, security, and inclusivity.
- This role involves physical tasks, including lifting and racking equipment up to 18kg, and may require working in confined or elevated spaces while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- The position entails 24×7 shift rotation.
We are seeking candidates to join our team in Mumbai, MH, IND.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of STEM classes or vocational course curriculum.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts as required.
- Experience managing tasks and priorities using a ticketing system and coordinating with managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems.
