Job Description – Associate Systems Engineer

Ideal Candidates:
Recent graduates or individuals with up to five years of experience who possess a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related field. Proficiency in communication and a fundamental understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Competence in programming, particularly Python, supported by a demonstrable portfolio (GitHub links are encouraged). Experience with Generative AI projects and a keen interest in further exploration. Problem-solving skills, organizational acumen, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. Appreciation for both autonomy and teamwork. Responsibilities:
Engage deeply with SAS Viya, open-source technologies, cloud services, AI, and analytics through our extensive training and available resources. Develop prototypes and demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of our technologies, in conjunction with SAS Viya, within sales contexts. Translate technical concepts into layman’s terms and collaborate with sales teams to address customer requirements effectively. Deliver compelling presentations and contribute to business development and marketing endeavors. Facilitate collaboration across departments to develop effective sales strategies and share knowledge.
Additional Desirable Qualities:
Proficiency in analytics-focused open-source languages such as Python, R, or Julia. Expertise in areas such as Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, or Natural Language Processing.
