Eclerx Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Analyst
Analyst Roles & Responsibilities
- Support back-office and middle-office processes for financial institutions.
- Manage various stages of client and product lifecycle, including:
- Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures
- Reference data management
- Handling legal documents, loans, and portfolio reconciliation
- Document capture, system reconciliation, pre- and post-settlement processes
- Brokerage functions, drafting, trade support, corporate actions, and tax operations
- Conduct data capture, cataloging, processing, system input, updates, reconciliations, settlements, and fund transfers.
- Prepare detailed reports using MS Excel.
- Engage with agents, counterparties, or clients to resolve queries and discrepancies through calls or emails.
- Identify and escalate risks, ensuring timely communication of unresolved issues to clients.
- Perform trade support tasks across the trade lifecycle, including:
- Trade confirmation matching
- Pre-settlement support
- Reconciliation of trade positions between front- and back-office
- Report generation and cash flow settlements from trading activities like interest or premium payments
- Syndicated loan operations and corporate actions setup
- Handle additional capital market tasks beyond trade lifecycle, such as:
- Reference data management
- Regulatory reporting (e.g., SDR, KYC)
- Conduct front-office and back-office reconciliations
- Learn and develop expertise in financial products, including:
- Equities, derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX spot, options, futures
- Credit derivative swaps, commodities derivatives, fixed-income products like corporate and treasury bonds
Technical and Functional Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or Master’s degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM)
- Experience: 0-2 years in investment banking operations, handling projects, process, and client management
- Skills:
- Basic finance knowledge, trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives
- Strong logical and quantitative abilities for data analysis
- Effective time management and issue resolution skills
- High energy, enthusiasm, commitment, and productivity
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
