Role Overview
Join our team dedicated to developing, designing, and maintaining technologies that enhance the efficiency of our clients and contribute to the betterment of the world. In this role, you will work in challenging and dynamic environments, utilizing your adaptability to create and support technology solutions that meet client requirements from initial analysis to final implementation.
What would you do?
As an Associate Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, testing, assembling, supporting, and configuring applications based on business requirements.
- Understanding the business drivers that influence performance and delivering software solutions that meet those expectations.
- Incorporating technological advancements into solutions and participating in the development of automation solutions, new functionalities, and emerging technologies, integrating them into existing systems.
- Taking ownership of incident resolution and providing customer support through voice interaction, email, chat, or remote assistance.
What we require:
We would highly appreciate it if you possess the following qualifications:
- The ability to anticipate and swiftly resolve business issues.
- A multidisciplinary and versatile mindset with a propensity for quick skill acquisition and application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Meeting coding expectations in terms of both timeliness and quality, as well as actively participating in peer reviews.
- Assuming responsibility for successful solution implementation.
- Supporting infrastructure operations and/or managing IT production systems and services delivery.
- Flexibility to relocate within India for project deployments and willingness to work in 24X7 shifts as required by business needs.
The following qualifications would also be preferred:
- Basic understanding of ABAP Development on HANA, CDS, AMDP, and Performance Analysis.
- Experience or knowledge in Salesforce.com application configuration and customization.
- Proficiency in J2EE and full-stack development.
- Knowledge and experience in .NET (ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC) development.
- Test automation engineering.
- Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases, and test data.
- Application of business and functional knowledge, including adherence to testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies to achieve team objectives.
- Designing testing scenarios for usability testing.
- Preparing comprehensive reports related to software testing activities.
- Analyzing test results and providing observations to the development team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates from all streams/branches of B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech, MCA, and M.Sc. (CSE, IT only) from the 2022 & 2023 graduating batches with full-time education are eligible to apply. (Part-time and distance educations will not be considered)
- MBA/PGDBM candidates are not eligible for this role.
- No active backlogs during the application and/or onboarding process.
- The relevant degree must be completed within the designated duration, with no gaps in the course of study. (For example: B.Tech should be completed in 4 years or M.Tech/MSc in 2 years.)
- Only the highest educational qualification will be considered.
- Candidates must not have undergone the Accenture Recruitment assessment/interview process within the past three months.
- Candidates should not have more than 11 months of prior experience.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in India, either by citizenship or possession of relevant work permit documents.
- Please note that citizens of Bhutan and Nepal can work in India without obtaining a work visa. All other foreign nationals require a work visa or an Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card to work in India.
- You must be willing to work in any Business Unit/Service Line within the company.
- You must be willing to join or relocate to any Accenture office across India.
Assessment Process: Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, you will receive an email invitation to participate in online assessments. The assessment process consists of two stages that must be completed within the designated timeframe.
Mock Assessment: As a mandatory requirement, you will be provided with a 20-minute mock/practice assessment. This mock assessment ensures that your hardware, software, and internet connection are suitable for the upcoming assessments. Additionally, it serves as an opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the assessment format.
Assessment #1: Cognitive and Technical Assessment For this assessment, you will be given 90 minutes to complete it. The Cognitive and Technical Assessment comprises 50 questions, encompassing the following areas:
- English ability
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Abstract reasoning
The Technical Assessment includes 40 questions covering the following topics:
- Common Application and MS Office
- Pseudocode
- Fundamentals of Networking, Security, and Cloud
Upon completion of the Cognitive and Technical Assessment, you will be notified of your results within 5-10 minutes. We recommend that you remain seated and await the result. The Coding Assessment will commence immediately after the result notification.
To progress to further rounds, it is necessary for you to meet the section and subsection cutoffs in our assessment. Once you successfully clear the Cognitive and Technical Assessment, you are required to participate in the coding assessment.
Candidates who do not clear the Cognitive and Technical Assessment or fail to participate in the assessments will not proceed further in the selection process.
Assessment #2: Coding Assessment The duration of the coding assessment will be 45 minutes. You will be presented with two questions that must be solved using one of the following programming languages:
- C
- C++
- Dot Net
- Java
- Python
Assessment #3: Communication Assessment The communication assessment has an approximate duration of 30 minutes. You will receive a separate email containing the timelines and login details to participate in this assessment. The Communication Assessment evaluates the following parameters:
- Sentence mastery
- Vocabulary
- Fluency
- Pronunciation
By completing these assessments, you will be one step closer to the selection process for further rounds.
