Job Description
Position Overview:
We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled Associate Software Engineer with 0.6 to 1.5 years of experience to join our expanding team in Bangalore. As a vital member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced software solutions that support Alteryx’s goal of making data analytics accessible to all.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and manage software applications. Craft clean, efficient, and sustainable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards. Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality and share insights with colleagues. Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial planning and design to execution and ongoing maintenance. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues promptly and effectively. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the industry to continually enhance skills and remain competitive.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0.6 to 1.5 years of practical experience in software development.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
Thorough understanding of software development principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills:
Experience with data analytics or business intelligence tools is a plus.
Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
