Job Description
What will your job involve?
- Providing support to Amdocs internal users for IT-related issues.
- Demonstrating knowledge to support various Desktop and Laptop models available in Amdocs.
- Imaging Amdocs Laptops and desktops with the Amdocs image.
- Logging new cases and updating progress on existing cases using the internal CRM application in a timely manner.
- Handling escalated windows-related issues from Remote Support.
- Managing ServiceNow incident and request workflows by taking ownership, prioritizing incoming work, and delivering services within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Resolving and responding to user questions received via ServiceNow, email, or other collaboration methods, meeting defined OLA and SLA.
- Utilizing technical knowledge bases (internal & external) to resolve technical issues and collaborating on issues with relevant teams as required.
- Supporting meeting/conference room IT infrastructure.
- Managing vendor relationships to address desktop/laptop requirements and plan for future needs.
- Initiating procurement requirements for new PC/Laptop devices to support existing and future requirements.
- Being on call after office hours and during weekends for any major disruptions in IT services.
- Documenting new procedures and maintaining documentation on troubleshooting and technology, contributing to the knowledge base as required.
- Collaborating effectively and closely with end users and IT stakeholders.
All you need is…
- B.E/B.tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science or a related stream, with a 2023 passout, full-time.
Required Skills/Domain Knowledge:
- Minimum 0-6 months of technical support experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of remote support tools like Windows Messenger, RDP, Net Meeting, SCCM.
- Excellent knowledge of PC & laptop hardware.
- Expert knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems, and Mac OS.
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows Exchange messaging system.
- Intermediate knowledge of backup systems like OneDrive, Druva.
- Intermediate knowledge of O365.
Preferred Skills/Domain Knowledge:
- Windows System Administration (Windows 7, Windows 10).
- PC/Laptop support.
- Hardware knowledge of laptop, desktop, printer.
- Good knowledge of MS suite of products like MS 365.
- Excel knowledge for reporting.
