Your Role:
As an Integration Engineer, your job responsibilities will include collaborating with different units such as the Version Manager, Development, Testing, and customer teams. Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth software delivery from compilation to runtime in both simple and complex environments, focusing on accurate configuration and zero downtime for all utilities.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate with various units to facilitate software delivery, ensuring accurate configuration and zero downtime for all utilities, from compilation to runtime.
- Set up different Software Configuration Management (SCM) environments and build mechanisms, both within Amdocs and non-Amdocs environments.
- Provide comprehensive mentorship to development teams on compiling, packaging, and utilizing SCM tools throughout the product life cycle phases.
- Optimize the build process by implementing the latest tools and enhancing existing utilities.
- Identify and resolve build errors, ranging from simple to complex, by offering immediate and long-term solutions.
- Configure, install, and upgrade environments (e.g., standalone, coordinated, clustered) for internal and external users throughout the product life cycle stages (Development, Testing, UAT, Production).
- Configure third-party software (Java, WL, Maven) in various supported environments and collaborate with development and architecture teams.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Automation.
- Sound knowledge of the Unix/Linux Server platform.
- Demonstrated experience in different stages of the Software Creation Process as an Integration Engineer.
