Job Description


This position is a component of the Financial Crime Risk Data Integrity team, tasked with transforming strategies aimed at combating financial crime. Our approach involves utilizing data analytics to drive the development of future Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions.

Key responsibilities entail:

  • Conducting analytics to support various initiatives within FCR (Financial Crime Risk) in a dynamic regulatory landscape, employing SQL/Python.
  • Handling extensive amounts of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Monitoring the KYC/KYB status of Cardmembers and Legal Entity portfolios by creating dashboards (utilizing Tableau/Sisense).
  • Formulating and implementing robust data-driven strategies to optimize AML risk management and improve customer experience.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams (Compliance, Tech, PMO) to establish AML risk strategies and comprehend the regulatory framework in relevant markets.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering).

Technical and Functional Skills/Capabilities:

  • Proactive approach and proficient analytical skills.
  • Ability to address unstructured problems using data.
  • Strong process orientation and aptitude for collaboration.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated drive and dedication to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with proven capability in managing competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated learner with the capacity to quickly grasp new concepts and techniques with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (SQL, Hive, Python, R) is expected.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with credit risk strategy and/or the payments industry is advantageous.
