Job Description
Apple is currently seeking candidates for the position of Junior Cloud Network Software Engineer.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of cloud infrastructure automation to support cloud adoption.
- Develop cloud services and provide standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
- Work on complex distributed systems deployed in multi-cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Take projects from the idea stage to production, including designing, coding, writing unit tests, performing integration tests, deploying to production, and supporting production systems.
- Streamline, automate, and consolidate complex infrastructure.
- Operate within a dynamic Agile development environment and remain adaptable to changing requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and provide support to resolve production issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (a Master’s degree is advantageous).
- 1-2 years of experience with strong problem-solving skills.
- A curious and motivated learner.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey thoughts clearly and concisely in both speech and writing, and a commitment to active listening.
- Coursework or relevant experience in data structures, algorithms, and debugging (bonus if you have completed courses related to Distributed Systems, Web Development, Network, or Application Security).
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and drive project closures.
- High tolerance for ambiguity.
