Job Description
Bizongo Off Campus Hiring – DevOps Intern
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will engage with advanced technologies, utilizing Containers, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, and CloudFormation. They will also work with Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, GitHub, MySQL, SageMaker, Service Mesh, Prometheus, and Loki, developing platform tools with Python, Go, and other scripting languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 0 to 1 year in a relevant field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Kernel, Networking, and OS fundamentals.
- Strong DevOps scripting capabilities with Python, Go, and Shell.
- Experience in managing, troubleshooting, and deploying containerized environments using Docker or containerd, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with both public and private cloud solutions, including AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, and DIY clouds.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Proficiency in Helm, Terraform, and other IaC tools.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, or Argo.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, Envoy, API gateways, and Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Consul Mesh, or Linkerd/Conduit).
- Expertise in observability practices, including monitoring, metrics, logging, alerts, and tracing.
- Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- A commitment to continuous learning and effective engineering practices.
