Position Title: Full Stack Developer
Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our expanding Software Engineering team within the Alternatives division of the Aladdin Product Group. This role is instrumental in enhancing our private markets platform, eFront Invest. As part of BlackRock, eFront delivers comprehensive software solutions tailored for alternative investment professionals.
In this position, you’ll be fully integrated into the Aladdin eFront Engineering Team, gaining exposure to both technical architecture and product functionality. This offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced skills in the rapidly evolving Private Equity and broader Alternative Investments landscape. You’ll work in a globally diverse and innovation-driven environment.

You possess strong analytical thinking and are capable of interpreting user stories and requirements to design practical, efficient solutions. You write clean, testable code and recognize your responsibilities in both unit and integration testing. Your work demonstrates autonomy, but you also know when to seek guidance. You can read, interpret, and adapt existing codebases with ease.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in software development

- Interest in the functional side of products; foundational knowledge of finance or investment domains is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
