Boeing India is currently seeking a Python developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. These roles will primarily support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business operations.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks with precision during Sprint Planning.
2. Contribute to Backlog refinement meetings by asking pertinent questions to ensure requirements meet Definition of Ready (DOR) criteria.
3. Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure code and acceptance tests align with desired functionality.
4. Identify and report impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) and collaborate with Scrum Master, Technical Architect, or Product Owner to find solutions.
5. Maintain daily updates on task status and remaining efforts.
6. Ensure accurate handling and tracking of change requests in the system, conduct impact analysis, and communicate risks/timelines effectively.
7. Develop working software aligned with Team PI Objectives and Iteration plans.
8. Deliver working software that meets expected quality standards.
9. Design for testability, evolving the system to support test automation.
10. Work on prototyping and assess technical feasibility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1. Technical Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
2. Proficiency in Python programming.
3. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Languages (JAVA, C++).
4. Familiarity with PyQt application framework, TCL scripting, and PyCharm IDE.
5. Strong understanding of Object Database Management Systems (ODBMS).
6. Competence in Web frameworks, preferably Bottle, Python WSGI Application, and Pyunit.
7. Experience with Web services, JSON Data structures.
8. Familiarity with MongoDB and pymongo.
9. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
10. Aerospace domain experience with System Engineering Knowledge is a plus.
11. Strong experience in object-oriented programming.
12. Flexibility to work in complex organizational structures and collaborate with partners from various cultures and time zones.
13. Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, persuade, motivate, and mentor team members.
14. Self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethical standards, and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
15. Ability to work independently and deliver on the backlog without constant guidance.
